Snow Fun Run, medallion hunt, canoe races, pizza toss and play will highlight the festival
The abundance of snow this season will be a perfect fit for Littlefork’s Snow Fun Days, scheduled for Feb. 17-19.
The 11th annual winter festival will include a 5K Snow Fun Run, medallion hunt, canoe races, a pizza toss and a community play among others.
Area snow fun-goers are invited to attend the annual winter celebration where a wide range of outdoor and indoor festivities are planned for the weekend.
A drive through Littlefork will feature snow sculptures designed by Littlefork-Big Falls students — displayed on the grounds in front of the L-BF School.
The annual medallion hunt, with clues posted throughout the weekend at the Littlefork Community Building, will again be a popular feature of Littlefork Snow Fun Days. Organizers explain that there is a prize for whoever finds the medallion.
For $2, a Snow Fun Days button admits people to all of the activities and enters their names in “dozens and dozens” of drawings for chamber cash and prizes, say organizers. Buttons are for sale at Littlefork businesses.
For more information on any of the events, contact the Littlefork Chamber of Commerce at 278-6617.
