Mr. and Mrs. Paul Aili and family are new residents on the Ray North Road. They formerly lived at Esko and have purchased the Henry Brown farm. They have four children, Mark, 8, Eric, 6, Kirk, 3, and Karina, 1 1/2. Mrs. Aili is the manager of the International Travel Service in the Falls.
The “milky” appearance of city water during the past few days is caused by nothing more than very small air bubbles, according to R.J. Burrock, chief chemist at the Boise Cascade plant. The city water department has received many calls from homeowners asking about the milky appearance of the water.
Piggly Wiggly owner Ivan Stewart purchased a baler about two months ago to bale paper and cardboard boxes instead of burning it. The 125-pound bales are being purchased by Boise Cascade to be recycled and used to make Insulite.
Mary Sugranis and LaVina Anderson received the honor of being presented red tassels at the recent meeting of the Women of the Moose.

Nancy Thompson, 6, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C.N. Thompson, Newport, Rainy Lake, fell while playing early Wednesday evening and suffered a broken left arm at the elbow.
Three girls’ bathing suits were stolen last night from a clothes line at the Arthur Enzmann Jr. home, Riverview. Two men’s suits, also hanging on the line, were not taken.
Mr. and Mrs. F.T. Frederickson and their three sons, John, Robert and William, 917 Fifth St., returned early yesterday evening after spending the weekend at the home of Mrs. Frederickson’s brother and sister-in-law, the Rev. and Mrs. Donald Meikle and family in Monticello.
Army PFC Gordon L. Cassibo, 22, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward O. Cassibo, 1802 Second Ave. E., recently completed Hawk guided missile unit training with other personnel from the 65th Artillery’s 6th Missile Battalion at Fort Bliss, Texas.

Fred Rosenthal, border city pilot injured Saturday when his light plane crashed near Dent, is confined to Veterans Hospital in Fargo, N.D. The flier was described as badly hurt.

Harold Eugene (Lad) Shull, son of Mr. and Mrs. H.E. Shull, received word Friday to report to Fort Snelling and the U.S. Air Corps Monday morning.
Stevenson's store at 225 Third St. remained closed today as manager George Heinsch and staff prepared to move fixtures and merchandise to larger, more modern quarters in the Holler building, 316 Third St.
Three-year-old Wally Bahr, of Chicago, was seriously injured on Highway 53 late Monday afternoon. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Victor Bahr and his mother is the former Nina Tessier. She and her son have been visiting relatives here for the past two weeks.
Lieut.-Commander Michael A. Carew, son of Mike Carew, Indus, who has been a navy postal inspector for six years, is now in charge of post offices in new bases under navy supervision.
