U.S. Air Force Captain Gary L. Gilchrist, son of Mr. and Mrs. Oliver L. Gilchrist of 130 Hiway Lane, has received the Bronze Star Medal for meritorious service while engaged in military operations against Viet Cong forces.
An open house will be held for Mr. and Mrs. James Rasmussen in observance of their 25th wedding anniversary on Aug. 13 from 2 until 5 p.m. at their home in Littlefork.
