Mrs. William Rauer underwent an emergency appendectomy Sunday at Northern Minnesota Hospital. Her condition is critical.

Mrs. Alfred Weum, Mrs. H. Blixt and Mrs. Arthur Erickson entertained at the home of Mrs. John Gable complimenting Mrs. Arthur Towle who will leave this week for Salt Lake City to make her home.

Mr. and Mrs. William Cicero of this city are parents of a daughter born today at the Laurion Maternity Home.

Ellsworth Jorgenson, son of Mrs. Minnie Jorgenson, arrived home this morning from Great Lakes, Ill., where he has completed his basic training in the Navy.
