Larry Bowman, a member of the Falls school faculty, spent the weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Milt Bowman, Northome.
Dear Santa — I would very much like to have a dolly that drinks a bottle and wets her pants. I would like some diapers and clothes for her, too. I would like a diaper bag to carry her things in. Also, a nurse kit and bottle for her to drink milk out of. One make-up kit, one box of chloroform. Thank you, Mary Lou Turenne.

A son was born today at Falls Memorial Hospital to Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Giauque, 1118 Ninth St., weight, 8 pounds.
Miss Shirley Ryan, 17, was honored at a dinner party at the Morris Kapilovich home, 917 Eighth St. A decorated birthday cake centered the dinner table.
Mrs. S.O. Hafdahl, wife of the Koochiching County assessor, suffered a stroke and is confined to Falls Memorial Hospital. Her condition was described today as unchanged.
Mrs. James Kalar, 623 Seventh St., was honored guest at a stork shower at the home of Mrs. Elliott Christensen.

Mrs. Archie Brindos was guest of honor at a farewell party at the home of Mrs. John Gregurich, 814 Eighth Ave. Mrs. Brindos will leave shortly for Mill Valley, Calif., to join her husband who is employed there.
Mrs. Roger Jerome and son, Dick, will leave Monday for Richmond, Calif., where Mr. Jerome is employed.
Mrs. J.H. Balmer, who resides with her daughters, Mrs. Anna Gish and Mrs. Lottie Stoll, celebrated her 91st birthday recently.
Mrs. Martin Hobbins received word that her son, Francis, who enlisted in the Navy, has been rated A.M. 3/c, and is stationed at Camp Bennion, Farragut, Ind.
