A bridal shower was held recently in honor of Mrs. Larry Lennox, nee Harmony VanSchoiack, at the home of Pam Sullivan.
Mr. and Mrs. Norman Scholta left two weeks ago to spend the winter in Bispop, Calif., with their son and family, Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Scholta.
Jon Reuter, Greg Hellings and James Williams, Scouts of Troop 149, plan to attend Jamboree West which will be held next August in Idaho.

Another Larson hopes to play football for the University of Minnesota football varsity. He is Don, the son of Frank “Butch” Larson, an all-American end for the Gophers back in the Golden Thirties.
Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Braford, Jameson Addition, will be honored at an open house reception on Sunday in celebration of their golden wedding anniversary.
Hartman Brothern, son of Mrs. George Smith, 1209 Sixth St., a senior at the University of Wichita, Kan., recently had an editorial cartoon accepted for publication in the “Wichita World.”
Pvt. Clifford W. Malone, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Malone Sr., South International Falls, is enroute to Wurzburg, Germany, having departed from Fort Dix, N.J., on Jan. 7.

A daughter was born today at Falls Memorial Hospital to Mr. and Mrs. Robert Selberg, South International Falls, weight, 6 pounds, 10 ounces. Name chosen, Gleora Vel.
A son was born today at Falls Memorial Hospital to Mr. and Mrs. George Hartness, 400 Eighth Ave., weight, 6 pounds, 6 ounces. Name chosen, William Merryl.
Mrs. Morris D. Stark, 1311 11th Ave., returned to her home Sunday from Falls Memorial Hospital where she has been confined since the day before Thanksgiving. She suffered a strep throat resulting in a heart condition and must continue to rest at her home.
Mrs. Anton Koschak, 623 1/2 Sixth St., and her son, Michael Robert, 1 month, were honored at a shower at the home of her mother, Mrs. Charles Gaines, 1111 Sixth St.

Leon Joseph Lessard of Ranier is at the Farragut Idaho Navy Training Base. Carl N. Reuter Jr. and William S. Wheeler are also stationed there.
Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Sjostrom left yesterday for Napa, Calif., to make their home.
Mr. and Mrs. Hilding Sandstrom and son Bobby left for Ogden, Utah, where they will make their home. Mr. Sandstrom will be employed on a defense project.
Little Virginia and Donna Sutherland spent last week at the William Stillar home.
