One-hundred-pounder Keith Crandall and 107-pounder Chad Hell won titles in their weight divisions over the past weekend and helped the Bronco wrestlers take sixth place in the Hibbing Invitational.
Mary Jane Anderson, Patti Sirotiak, Mary Jo Watkins, Jack Larson and Betty Manders completed undergraduate degree requirements to graduate from Bemidji State University.

Kurt Sundin returned to school at the University of Minnesota-Crookston after spending the holidays with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Einar Sundin and family.
Mrs. Paul S. (Peg) Johnson and infant son, Jeffrey Marvin, were honored at a baby shower recently in the Fireside Room of Faith United Church of Christ.
Miss Bonnie Fichuk was the guest of honor at a bridal shower Jan. 16 in the Holy Trinity Episcopal Church undercroft.

Larry Grover, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Grover, 1614 Third Ave. E., left for Army basic training Dec. 27.
Don Leggett, who drew the month of January as his month to entertain the Cribbers, has done so for the third time since the club was formed in December of 1959.
William McGuire, a native son of Mississippi but a resident of the north country for almost 85 years, will celebrate his 105th birthday Sunday at the Scenic Hotel at Northome where he has made his home for the past several years.
Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Luttrell, 224 Second St. E., have returned from a one-month visit with their two daughters in eastern Ontario.

A daughter was born today at Falls Memorial Hospital to Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Woods, Ranier, weight, 6 pounds, 9 ounces.
Mrs. Donald Fitig, the former Beverly Jordan, who was married here on Christmas Day, was honored guest at a shower at the Ukrainian Hall.
Gary Aklestad, 6, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Ness, 1118 Main Ave., has been receiving treatment for pneumonia since Saturday at Falls Memorial Hospital.

Mr. and Mrs. Orrie Larson, 1125 Seventh St., are parents of a daughter born Jan. 18 at the Laurion Maternity Home. She has been named Barbara Sharon.
Mr. and Mrs. Sexton Lindberg (Agnes Haugland), 704 Third Ave., are parents of a son born today at the Laurion Maternity Home. Gary Allen are the names chosen for the child.
Lieut. and Mrs. George W. Monahan, of Grand Rapids, announce the birth of a son today at Grand Rapids. They have two other children, a daughter and a son.
Little Lael Gendron celebrated her first birthday at the home of her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Gendron.
