Airman James A. Baron, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Baron of 1008 10th St., has graduated at Goodfellow Air Force Base, Texas, from the U.S. Air Force communications analysis specialist course.

Mrs. Gladys Helps, registered nurse superintendent and director of nursing services of Falls Nursing Home, formerly of Duluth, will begin her duties as superintendent of Falls Nursing Home on Friday.

It was work as usual for the Falls area's most famous citizen, Bronko Nagurski, who has been selected as one of 17 charter members of professional football's new Hall of Fame.

A girl was born today at Falls Memorial Hospital to Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Turban, Patricia Marie, 7 pounds, 13 3/4 ounces.

A boy was born today at Falls Memorial Hospital to Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Bernard, 8 pounds, 7 ounces.

A son was born today at Falls Memorial Hospital to Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Ness, 1118 Main Ave., weight, 7 pounds, 3 ounces.

Patricia Kohlhase, 14, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.C. Kohlhase, 719 Sixth St., has been confined to Falls Memorial Hospital since Tuesday evening when she suffered a broken collarbone in a fall while on a sleighride party arranged by young people of the First Lutheran Church.

A daughter was born today at Falls Memorial Hospital to Mr. and Mrs. Ray VonderHaar, Border Theater building, weight, 7 pounds, 10 ounces.

Pvt. Robert L. Hull, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Hull, 1206 Main Ave., recently arrived in Germany and is now serving with the 2nd Armored Division.

Mr. and Mrs. John Coran Sr., 707 Sixth St., entertained at a dinner party complimenting their son, Cpl. John Coran Jr., home on furlough from Alaska, and Pvt. Robert Douglas, Spokane, Wash. Italian ravioli was served to 10 guests.

Mrs. and Mrs. John Decker, 609 Sixth St., entertained at a 6 o'clock dinner party at their home complimenting their grandson, Roland L. Decker, who will leave Friday for duty.

Max Neevel, Mando Research lab, was last weekend joined by Mrs. Neevel and their two boys. The Neevels are now residing at 604 12th Ave.

Joe Turenne, 1023 Eighth St., was guest of honor at a surprise birthday party at his home.
