Carole Solo was among the first 13 registered nurses to graduate from the new Gillette Campus of Sheridan College in Gillette, Wyo., associate degree nursing program recently. She is the daughter of Marie Kucera and the late Wallace Kucera of Ericsburg.
Brad Bergstrom and Sarah Nellis were named to the academic list at Concordia College, Moorhead.

Mrs. Robert Myer and infant son, Marc, were honored at a shower Wednesday evening in the library room of the Holler School.
A girl was born today at Falls Memorial Hospital to Mr. and Mrs. James Morrison.

Carole Jeanne Ciminski is Homemaker of Tomorrow for Falls High School in the 1963 Betty Crocker Search for the American Homemaker of Tomorrow.
Mr. and Mrs. Roy J. Brown were honored recently on the occasion of their golden wedding anniversary. Mr. Brown is the local dealer in Watkins Products.
Airman David W. Dudley, son of Roy T. Dudley of Island View Route, is being reassigned to Amarillo Air Force Base, Texas, for technical training as a United States Air Force administrative specialist.
Little Kelly Ann Langton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Langton, was able to return to her home Friday from La Verendrye Hospital in Fort Frances where she submitted to major surgery on Jan. 8.

Mrs. LeRoy Lorette, Sunset Cove, was honored by members of the Pine Needles Club at a stork shower at the home of Mrs. M.E. King, 524 Fifth St.
Private William P. Lessard, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Lessard, 900 Sixth St., is now serving at Fort Richardson, the largest army installation in Alaska.
Falls High School Senior "A" Honor Roll - Barbara Arney, Patricia Graham, Carolyn Johnson, Betty Joan Peters and Marlene Ruelle.
Judge and Mrs. J.J. Hadler have taken an apartment in Grand Rapids and plan to move there soon.
70 YEARS AGO
Daisy Alto Soderland, stenographer, formerly of the Mando stores department, has transferred to the time office. Her former position in the stores department has been taken over by Dorothy Weir. Ivy Lynch has been transferred from the time office to the Insulite plant.
Glen McIntyre, son of Mrs. George McIntyre Sr. of Holler, has received his call and will leave Monday for Northfield to begin training in the Naval Air Corps.
Sharon Earlene are the names chosen by Mr. and Mrs. Earl Wonser, 807 Fourth Ave., for their daughter born today at the Laurion Maternity Home.
Mrs. Vernon Cook of Jameson Addition was guest of honor at a farewell party at the home of her mother-in-law, Mrs. Albert Cook. Mrs. Cook and her children, Gary and Karen, will leave for Minneapolis to join Mr. Cook and make their home.
