Harold Hostetter received his private pilot’s license from the University of North Dakota’s Center for Aerospace Sciences in a recent flight at the school’s flight training facilities in Grand Forks.
Dean Blumer of South International Falls has been accepted into the welding program at the Faribault Technical Institute.

Dan Danielson and Mary Jo Danielson, son and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Loyd Danielson, 1400 11th St., were among those graduating from Bemidji State College on June 4.
Mr. and Mrs. William Axt of Ranier celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary June 15. Due to their daughter Janelle’s eye examination at the University Hospitals, their anniversary party was given as a surprise by their two eldest daughters, Kathy and Pam.
A boy was born today at Falls Memorial Hospital to Mr. and Mrs. William Ford, Littlefork.

A girl was born today at Falls Memorial Hospital to Mr. and Mrs. Paul Lehman, 6 pounds, 2 ounces.
Mrs. Merle Runnell of South International Falls completed the prescribed course in practical nursing at the Thief River Falls Area Vocational-Technical School. She will now be employed at Falls Memorial Hospital.
Donna Weisz, 3 1/2, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anton Weisz, 624 Seventh St., was discharged from St. Luke’s Hospital where she had been a patient since June 7. Donna was injured June 6 at a carnival held in the Falls.
Friends and neighbors of Mr. and Mrs. Steve Evanoff, Ray, will honor the couple on the occasion of their 25th wedding anniversary on July 8.
