The Rev. and Mrs. Leo H. Buechler of Faith United Church of Christ will be honored at an open house from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Fellowship Hall of the church. The Buechlers will be moving to Cottage Grove in August.

Tony Lucca, a Mando employee since 1921, has decided to retire. Although he’s only 59 and in good health, Tony decided on retirement at this time so he could devote more time to the operation of his grocery business at Seventh Avenue and Eleventh Street.
Sgt. Robert Wood, Fay Apartments, was among a number of Minnesota rotation servicemen to arrive in the U.S. Sunday from Korea.
Marlys Pearson entertained at a party for her cousin, Raymond Sonderman, at the Oscar Pearson lake cottage. Twelve young people enjoyed canoeing, swimming, dancing and a wiener roast.

Mrs. Marie Matheson of Fort Frances announces the marriage of her daughter, Miss Irene Hogan, to Dr. H.J. Dworsky of this city. The ceremony was performed here last evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Moorman, 506 Ninth St., are parents of a daughter born yesterday at the Laurion Maternity Home. Dorothy Louise are the names chosen for the child.
