Anthony Paul, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald P. Kennedy, Blue Goose Apartments, was the honored guest at a baptismal dinner given Sunday at the home of his maternal grandparents, the Walter Lindvalls, 318 Seventh St.
Gary Sartain and Joseph Tracy, Falls High School juniors, have been nominated for the annual Achievement Awards program sponsored by the National Council of Teachers of English.
The Grand March of the junior-senior prom was led by Jerry Jensen, Jerry Emery, Michael Shuff, Don Larson, Robbie Bennett, Patti Pavek and Joyce Bartkowski.

Mr. and Mrs. August Lehman Sr. and son, Bob, moved to their home on Dove Island, Black Bay, last week from their farm in Cingmars.
Cynthia Torseth, 12, who left Thursday with her parents to reside in Lebanon, Ore., was honored at a farewell party at the Tilford Weum home, 1022 10th St. Table decorations including a covered wagon drawn by paper horses and marked “Oregon or Bust” were arranged by Janet Sawchuk and Jo Ann Weum.
Roy Smith, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Smith, South International Falls, broke his left arm while playing football on the Holler School playground. He is in the third grade at Holler School.
Don Rydholm, formerly of Grafton, N.D., has succeeded Darrel “Gus” Carlson as manager of The Bootery, 320 Third St.

Stanley W. Macknicki, 20, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter J. Macknicki, 614 Seventh Ave., is reported missing in naval action in the Manila Bay area and may have been captured by the Japs.
Diane Marie are the names chosen for the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Julian Blais, born yesterday at their home in Jameson Addition.
A new service was being introduced to local citizens this week, when the Falls Floral shop became members of the Florists Telegraph Delivery Association. Mrs. R.C. Shaw is proprietor of Falls Floral. Through this organization, flowers may be ordered locally to be delivered to all points in the United States, Canada, England and many other countries in normal times.
Floyd Turban, Mando chem lab, last Saturday suffered a hand burn from flash powder while making a flash photo.
