Mrs. T.C. Basterash, 1106 Eighth Ave., is a patient in Virginia Municipal Hospital recovering from injuries suffered Sunday evening when the family car collided with a deer on Highway 53 two miles south of Cook. Other members of the family were unhurt.
Stanley Pierce, who is employed in Wautoma, Wis., spent the weekend here with his family at their residence, 604 10th St. On Saturday the Pierces attended the wedding of Miss Jeanne Janesich and Frank Pierce in Chisholm.

The stork delivered two boys to Falls Memorial Hospital during the past two days. A son weighing 7 pounds, 1 1/2 ounces was born to Mr. and Mrs. Jack Murray, 1105 Ninth Ave. Mr. and Mrs. Norman,Stubee, 820 12th St., became the parents of an 8-pound, 12-ounce boy Tuesday.
Friends and relatives of Mrs. Lawrence Ruelle surprised her last night occasion of her birthday. A large birthday cake made by Mrs. Arsene Ruelle centered the table.

This is what the Fort Frances team must have been saying to each other as the aroused Broncos played hide-and-seek with them for 48 minutes at Sports Stadium. Like Ole Man River, the Broncos just kept rolling along, going through, around and over the befuddled Canadians for 12 touchdowns, eight extra points and an 80-0 pasting.
