Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Goodwin and family, 703 Sixth St., moved to Minneapolis this week. Goodwin was employed by Union Taxi here.

Gus Spath, owner of the Boston cafe here since 1921, recently sold his establishment to Albert St. Pierre. St. Pierre was formerly operator of Rex Grill. The building is located at 308 Third St.

Northern Lumber Company and John Corrin this week confirmed reports they have sold a new ranch-type home in the Riverview district to Mr. and Mrs. E.H. LeDuc, 808 Sixth St.

Randall Scott Lucca, son of Mr. and Mrs. Tranquillo Lucca, 1118 Seventh Ave., celebrated his fifth birthday anniversary by entertaining 12 playmates at a party Sunday afternoon.

Alfred Paulson, for many years foreman of the Mando fifth floor fabricating department, has resigned his position.

Harry Sutherland, Insulite shipping department, has resigned his job.

Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Bjork, Blackstone Apartments, are parents of a son born today at the Laurion Maternity Home. David James are the names chosen for the child.
