Tim and Terry Cullen as well as Bruce Sandbeck are now among the leading scorers in the United States Hockey League.

Sue Alstrom, former Falls athlete and now a member of the women's field hockey team at Bemidj State College, has been one of two Bemidji State College team members to advance to the national tournament to be held in Boston.

Airman Charles L. Cason, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harrold D. Cason, Island View Route, has been assigned to Chanute Air Force Base, Ill., after completing Air Force basic training.

New officers of the Falls Recreation Hockey Association are: Tom Riley, president; Stan Hegg, vice president; Bill Howard, secretary-treasurer; and Stan Zurick, Dick Breneman, Tom Glowack and Chet Wagner, directors.

Falls High School students Pat McKibbage and Larry Roche spent five days on Entwine Lake across the border and were flown back by Rainy Lake Airways Wednesday with two moose, two deer, and limits of lake trout and walleyes.

Eugene Granger, science instructor at Backus Junior High School, was at a special school for radiological research at Eveleth over the weekend.

Dan Pelland and Matt Donahue spent Armistice weekend at their homes. Matt attends St. Cloud State College, while Dan attends St. Cloud Vocational School.

Paul H. Montgomery, a former employee of The Daily Journal, has achieved the distinction of being chosen Honor Man of his company at Camp Bennion, Farragut, Idaho.
