Fred Bublitz and family have moved into the house he recently purchased in South International Falls. It was once owned by William Getz.

All stacks of men’s rubber boots and rubber work shoes have been “frozen” by OPA order and hereafter may be purchased only under regulations of the rationing program.
Arthur Marklund, who left Monday for Hibbing to enlist in the Army Air Corps, was honored at a farewell party at his home Friday evening by a large number of friends from the Lindford and Littlefork communities.
Pvt. and Mrs. Waino Kiiskila (Mary Sokoloski) announce the birth of a daughter Sept. 30 at the Northern Minnesota Hospital. Marian Joan are the names chosen for the child.
Mrs. Julia Coleman, who will leave Oct. 11 for Minneapolis where she has accepted a position with the F. W. Woolworth company, was guest of honor at a farewell party at her home.
