Mr. and Mrs. Rowland Watson arrived home after spending two weeks with their son, Wally, and family in Milwaukee, Wis. Wally is the executive director of the Boys and Girls Club of Milwaukee, Wis.
Joe and Susan Boyle are proud to announce the birth of their son, Timothy Ryan (Ty) who was born today. He weighed 10 pounds, 11 1/2 ounces and was 22 1/2 inches long.

Nels Gustafson, temporary city employee, had his status changed to that of permanent employee on motion of the city council.
Quarterback Roger Bloomquist put on a tremendous display of running, pacing off touchdown springs of 17, 65 and 74 yards to lead the Littlefork-Big Falls Vikings to a 28-0 lacing of the Kelliher Dragons Friday night at Littlefork.
Mrs. Arvid Larsen, Belle Haven, has rented her house for the winter to Mr. and Mrs. Keith Seward and is leaving by train for Chicago, where she will spend the winter with her brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. A.J. Robertson.
Funeral rites for Miss Beverly Ann Marschalk, 19, and Miss Juel Vivian Baron, 19, were held this week.

Some 30 friends of Mr. and Mrs. Ross Trott, formerly of South International Falls, gathered at their new home on Island View Route for a housewarming party.
A son was born today at Falls Memorial Hospital to Mr. and Mrs. John Doris, 1114 10th St., weight, 8 pounds, 6 ounces. Name chosen, Gerald Duane.
Mrs. Lydia Davis of the Falls, who has been confined to Littlefork Hospital since January, was honored by friends and nurses at the hospital on her birthday anniversary.

Today’s football game marked the final gridiron appearance of Captain Dick DeBenedet, three-letter winner, and seniors Darrell (Red) Wegner, Bill McKibbage, Bob Mylerberg and Jack Coffin.
There are new hours and delivery regulations of the dry cleaners. Government regulation requiring reduction in the amount of mileage prohibits more than one trip to any one area. The government forbids call backs for collection. The International Dress Club, New Home Laundry and Master Cleaners.
C.H. Anderson is the new manager of the Crookston Milling Company at International Falls.
Warren Hemstad is convalescing at St. Luke’s Hospital in Duluth following an appendectomy.
