Bronco football players playing their last game Friday when the Broncos entertain the Golden Bears from Eveleth are Rick Wolk, Kerry Meyers, Rick McBride, John Holler, Jeff Mongrain, Brad Mongrain, Dave Dault, Bob Wood, Tim McBride, Paul Kruse, Scott Russell, Jim Lundquist, Greg Magner and Ron Gilbertson.
The Rainy River State Intramural Flag Football League crowned its winner when the Trojans defeated Molson Canadians 14-7 and then David and Goliath 25-6 to take the championship. Trojan members are John Murray, Barry Olson, Mike Anderson, Chris Raboin, Charlie Kocinski, Neil Bruce, Kurt Kerry and Mike Koranda.
New officers of the Ray Happy Workers are: Mary Pearson, president; Kathy Sundin, vice president; Peggy Otto, secretary; Colleen Friberg, treasurer; Lori Hay, reporter; and Faith Meyers, sergeant at arms.

All friends and relatives of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Dougherty, Littlefork, are extended an invitation to attend a reception in their honor at the Bud Spears’ residence, 1527 Second Ave. E., South International Falls, on Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. The open house is in honor of the couple’s 25th wedding anniversary.

Miss Betty Franklin and Mrs. Ethel McConnell entertained the officers club of the Degree of Honor Lodge at a Halloween party at the home of Miss Franklin. Each guest attended in costume and Mrs. Gary Vold was awarded first prize for best costume.
A daughter was born today at Falls Memorial Hospital to Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Bahr, South International Falls, weight, 7 pounds, 4 ounces.
A son was born today at Falls Memorial Hospital to Mr. and Mrs. Donald Rahier, weight, 7 pounds, 6 ounces.
Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Pettis, Liberty Addition, were honored on their 25th wedding anniversary at Ukrainian Hall with a dinner party and dance.

Don Van Nest of the engineering department, M and O paper company, received his call to report to the U.S. Naval Reserve.
A tea for the P.T.A. was given by girls of Falls High School home economics department. Virginia Sathrum, Laura Sweeney, Merle Solomon and Joan Preece from Elsie Hensel’s home economics class; and Helen Christie and Dorothy Larsen from Miss Helen Malvey’s class served the tea.
