Miss B. June Hammond, daughter of J.M. Hammond, Clark’s Colony, will graduate Wednesday evening from a three-year course at Minneapolis General Hospital School of Nursing.
The federal weather station at Falls Municipal Airport has scheduled an open house for Saturday and Sunday in observance of its 10th anniversary as a first-order station.

Mrs. Jack Gildersleeve, 936 Third St., entertained at a party at her home complimenting Mrs. Frank Passe of Minneapolis who is visiting relatives.
A group of friends attended a farewell party at Tex’s Hall for Teddy Tilander, who is going to the Army.
Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Miernicki left today for Superior, Wis., where they will make their home. Mr. Miernicki has been employed in the Minnesota Markets during his residence here.
Arthur Whitney, son of Mr. and Mrs. Claude Whitney, who is a student in the Junior College at Virginia, underwent an emergency appendectomy.
