A major reality television production company is considering Borderland as it seeks to document and explore the world of ice fishing for a new, unscripted television show.
People “obsessed with ice fishing,” unique people, competitions, resorts or family owned businesses in the ice fishing world are invited to offer their stories.
“If you and your friends ice fish during the winter as a sport, own an ice fishing resort or if decking out an ice fish house is your occupation, then we want to hear from you,” says a statement from the company.
People interested in getting involved are asked to submit the following information to Icefish4TV@gmail.com:
• Name
• Contact info (phone and preferred email)
• Current location
• Current photo of yourself
• A brief paragraph explaining your passion for ice fishing and the lengths that you go to for your sport.
• A short video of yourself describing the above (optional, but highly recommended for priority consideration). Include a YouTube or Vimeo link in the email directing us to the video.
Once the information is submitted, a producer is expected to contact people to review the details (production company, submission process, etc.).
