Rainy Lake Medical Center Auxiliary met June 5 at the hospital with president Beverly Beck presiding. She led in reciting the prayer for hospital auxiliaries. There were 10 members present.
Thank you notes were read from Marguerite Davison and the Community Baby Shower committee. Treasurer Carol Lagoo gave the treasurer’s report.
Carolyn McDougall was named membership chairperson.
Helen Billig, gift shop chairperson, gave the gift shop report. Newly ordered at the gift shop are stone coasters, money clips and Swiss army knives.
Brittany Fisher was awarded the Auxiliary Scholarship. She will be pursuing a medical career. There were 12 applicants for the award.
The fall meeting of District B Hospital Auxiliaries will be Oct. 25 in Virginia with the Virginia auxiliaries as hostesses.
Door prizes were awarded to Carol Lagoo and Edna Doris.
The next regularly scheduled meeting of the auxiliary will be at 10 a.m. July 3 at the hospital.
