Rainy Lake Medical Center Auxiliary President Linda Tilander presided at the Oct. 6 meeting in the hospital meeting room. Fifteen members were in attendance.
Thank you letters were read by corresponding secretary Joan Frick from former CEO Bonnie Erickson, who thanked the auxiliary for their accomplishments during the past year. A letter was read from Rose Morin, who thanked the auxiliary for the sympathy card sent to her.
Reports were heard from the secretary, treasurer, and committee chairpersons. New membership chairperson is Connie Lacher. Gift shop co-chairperson Carol Lagoo gave a treasury report from the gift shop. She said new greeting cards have been ordered.
Bake sale chairperson Lagoo said plans were well underway for the Nov. 6 event. She distributed calling lists. Lagoo is assisted by Panetta Jackson as co-chairperson.
President Tilander suggested a dress code for the auxiliary volunteers. Serving with her on this committee are Helen Billig, Lagoo and Sadie Darvell.
Lacher suggested a handbook be made up for new members. She will serve on this committee, assisted by Beverly Beck, Darvell, Lagoo and Marcie Rasmussen.
Members voted to change the November meeting to Nov. 10 due to the school referendum election.
Door prizes were awarded to Darvell and Billig.
