Rainy Lake Medical Center Auxiliary met Jan. 5 at the hospital with president Linda Tilander presiding. The prayer for hospital auxiliaries was recited. There were 13 members present.
Membership chairperson Connie reported 68 members had signed up during the membership drive. There are 23 active volunteers. Membership dues may still be paid at the gift shop during the hours it is open or mailed directly to Helen Billig, auxiliary treasurer.
Pam Hanson will chair the annual sloppy joe feed to be conducted at the hospital in March. Proceeds from that event will benefit two auxiliary scholarships given to high school students who heave chosen a medical field of study.
The next regularly scheduled meeting of the auxiliary will be at 10 a.m. Feb. 2 at the hospital.
