Rainy Lake Medical Center Auxiliary met Nov. 9 at the hospital with president Linda Tilander presiding. The prayer for hospital auxiliaries was recited and committee reports were presented.
Beverly Beck, chairperson of the annual bake sale, reported a very successful sale. Proceeds from the event will be used to purchase equipment for the hospital.
Connie Lacher, Tilander and Marcie Rasmussen reported on their attendance at the District B hospital auxiliaries fall meeting Oct. 20 in Duluth.
Gift shop chairperson Helen Billig reported that fruitcakes are for sale at the gift shop.
An election of officers was conducted. Officers elected are: Beverly Beck, president; Rose Morin, vice president; Joan Frick, recording secretary; Marguerite Davison, corresponding secretary; and Carol Lagoo, treasurer. They will assume their offices in January.
Tilander read an invitation for the auxiliary to attend the annual hospital Christmas party in December.
The next regularly scheduled meeting of the auxiliary will be Dec. 7 at the hospital.
