Rainy Lake Medical Center Auxiliary met Sept. 5 at the hospital. President Carolyn McDougall presided and led in reciting the prayer for hospital auxiliaries.
Hospital liaison Mickie Olson reported on hospital happenings. The hospital continues to raise funds for the chemotherapy fusion renovation project.
Sonia Wegge reported on correspondence and membership.
Gift shop chairperson Helen Billig gave a report on the gift shop. Fall items and a few Christmas items will be for sale. There are also blanket scarves and hot cherry pit pillows.
The annual November bake sale was discussed and will be on the agenda at the October meeting.
The next regularly scheduled meeting of the auxiliary will be Oct. 3 at the hospital.
