Rainy Lake Medical Center Auxiliary met Oct. 3 at the hospital with president Carolyn McDougall presiding.
The prayer for hospital auxiliaries was recited.
Hospital liaison Mickie Olson reported on hospital happenings. A health fair was scheduled for 1 to 3:30 p.m. Oct. 10. Flu shots were offered and informative displays featured.
Sonia Wegge gave reports on membership, correspondence and plans for the annual bake sale set for Nov. 3 at the hospital.
Gift shop chairperson Helen Billig gave her report on the gift shop. In stock are Himalayan salt lamps, a popular item, and Christmas items.
Volunteer director Florence Hervey reported on volunteer positions. There are several new volunteers. Hervey also reported that the Whispering Pines Quilt Guild had donated a quilt to the auxiliary for a fund raiser.
The next regularly scheduled meeting of the auxiliary will be Nov. 7 at the hospital.
