Rainy River Community College will hold its commencement ceremony at 1 p.m. May 18 in the RRCC Gymnasium.
A reception in honor of the graduates will follow.
Welcoming the 2012 graduating class will be Provost Ken Simberg; with Sue Collins, president of the Northeast Higher Education District, providing the commencement address. Minnesota State College and University Board of Trustee Cheryl Dickson will be the honored guest at this year’s event.
Surrounded by their classmates, family, friends, and faculty and staff of Rainy River Community College, 94 students will receive their degree, diploma, or certificate. Twelve of the 94 students graduated after fall semester; five will be earning more than one degree; and 23 will be graduating from their respective high school, as well as Rainy River Community College, through the Post Secondary Enrollment Options program.
