Rotary happenings
Rotarian Sherry Lessard welcomed Chief Inspector David Herrly, K-9 Officer, Pete Benedix and Enforcement Officer Jerad Kostiuk as guests to the Dec. 5 meeting of the International Falls Rotary Club. A video was shown to the group about U.S. Customs and Border Protection and then Benedix introduced the group to two canines from the K-9 unit. Benedix and Kostiuk demonstrated to the group how the canines are part of everyday protection of U.S. borders.
