Mike Ward, superintendent of Voyageurs National Park, was guest speaker at the Jan. 30 meeting of the International Falls Rotary Club. Ward spoke to the group about the efforts of Destination Voyageur’s, a group of 30 regional citizens who are promoting the park. At the Feb. 6 gathering, Tawnya Lee Schoewe was the guest of Rotarian Beth Anderson. Schoewe, chief of interpretation at VNP, spoke to the group about reservations at the park’s designated camping areas.
