The Ranier City Council is scheduled to meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday at Ranier Community Building to discuss a number of items.
An agenda is considered tentative until the government body begins the meeting and makes additions or deletions to the proposed agenda.
The council is expected to consider a letter of resignation from Teddy Pearson, the city’s maintenance employee. Pearson accepted a job with Koochiching County and noted in his resignation letter that his last day with the city will be Aug. 24, however, he said he would be willing to help train a new employee.
The council is also expected Monday to consider making the city clerk position full time.
An update on the Three Points North and Riverside Park water project is also expected to be heard Monday.
An open forum is scheduled at the conclusion of each regular council meeting. During this time, members of the public may address the council with comments, questions, or concerns.
