International Falls City Council Monday is expected to consider the licensing of private patrol systems and detectives when it meets Monday at 5 p.m.
The meeting time has been set earlier than normal to allow for a 6 p.m. meeting with Rainy Lake Medical Center hospital campus and Essentia Health officials.
The meeting is scheduled to take place at the council chambers in the Falls Municipal Building.
An agenda is considered tentative until the government body begins the meeting and makes additions or deletions to the proposed agenda.
In other business during the business meeting, the council is expected to consider a request by Nancy Shermoen for a “splash pad” at Smokey Bear Park.
The council offers an opportunity for public comment at the beginning of each regular meeting and concludes with reports by administration, department heads and members of the council.
