The following people have been sentenced for aggravated misdemeanor or felony crimes in Koochiching County District Court.
• Tyler M. Fentem, 18, International Falls, was sentenced May 7 for felony fifth-degree possession of drugs.
He was given a stay of adjudication and placed on three years supervised probation. He may not possess or consume alcohol or drugs or enter places where it is used or sold. He must submit to random searches and testing and complete an alcohol assessment.
• Kenneth A. Mathews, 24, International Falls, was sentenced May 21 for felony fifth-degree possession of drugs and gross misdemeanor escape from custody.
On the drug charge, he was given a stay of adjudication and placed on supervised probation for three years. He must complete a chemical assessment and follow recommendations.
On the escape charge, he was sentenced to six months jail. The sentence is to be served consecutively with the previous charge.
• Ernest F. Silvers, 29, was sentenced May 7 for felony second-degree burglary of a dwelling.
He was given a stay of imposition of sentence and placed on three years supervised probation. He was ordered to serve 11 days jail and pay $170 fine and fees. He must supply a DNA sample to the state and may not possess or consume alcohol or drugs or enter places where it is used or sold. He must submit to random searches and testing and complete an alcohol assessment and domestic abuse evaluation.
• Ryan C. Street, 33, Littlefork, was sentenced April 23 for gross misdemeanor game and fish violation — take, transport, posses pine marten, otter.
He was sentenced to one year jail and $400 fine and fees. The jail time was stayed on court conditions and he was placed on two years supervised probation.
• Guy C. Bruyere, 48, International Falls, was sentenced April 12 for gross misdemeanor driving while intoxicated — refuse to test.
He was sentenced to one year jail and $4,120 and placed on two years supervised probation. All but 10 days jail and $2,120 of the fine and fees were stayed on court conditions. He was ordered to serve 32 hours with the Sentence to Serve program and may not possess or consume alcohol or drugs or enter places where it is used or sold. He must submit to random searches and testing and complete an alcohol assessment.
• Nicholas S. Ecklund, 24, International Falls, was sentenced April 23 for gross misdemeanor driving while intoxicated.
He was sentenced to one year jail and placed on three years supervised probation. All but 60 days of the jail time were stayed on court conditions. He may not possess or consume alcohol or enter places where it is used or sold. He must submit to random searches and testing and complete an alcohol assessment.
• Bradly J. Erickson, 52, was sentenced May 7 for gross misdemeanor driving while intoxicated.
He was sentenced to one year jail and $3,120 fine and fees. All but 30 days and $1,120 were stayed on court conditions. He was placed on three years supervised probation and ordered to serve 80 hours community work service. He may not possess or consume alcohol or drugs or enter places where it is used or sold. He must submit to random searches and testing and complete an alcohol assessment.
• Barry A. Ives, 49, Saginaw, was sentenced May 7 for gross misdemeanor driving while intoxicated.
He was sentenced to one year jail and $3,620 fine and fees. All but 10 days jail and $1,120 was stayed on court conditions and he was placed on two years supervised probation. He was ordered to serve 40 hours community work service and may not possess or consume alcohol or drugs or enter places where it is used or sold. He must submit to random searches and testing and complete an alcohol assessment.
