The following people have been sentenced for aggravated misdemeanor or felony crimes in Koochiching County District Court.
• Adam E. Ames, 19, International Falls, was sentenced May 22 for felony fourth-degree possess drugs with intent to sell.
He was sentenced to 12 months and 1 day at the Minnesota Correctional Facility, St. Cloud.
• Michelle L. Kilde, 40, International Falls, was sentenced June 25 for gross misdemeanor driving while intoxicated.
She was sentenced to 365 days jail and $4,090 fine and fees. All but 30 days and $1,990 was stayed on court conditions and she was placed on three years supervised probation. The sentence is to be served concurrently with other sentences. She was ordered to serve 64 hours with the Sentence to Serve program and may not use alcohol or enter places where it is sold or used. She must follow the recommendations of an assessment and submit to random testing.
• Anna M. Stavseth, 21, International Falls, was sentenced June 25 for gross misdemeanor driving while intoxicated.
She was sentenced to 365 days jail and $4,132 fine and fees. All but 45 days and $2,025 was stayed on court conditions and she was placed on three years supervised probation. She may not use alcohol or enter places where it is being used or sold. She must follow the recommendations of an assessment and submit to random testing. She was ordered to serve 80 hours with the Sentence to Serve program.
• Dawson L. Lush, 21, Big Falls, was sentenced June 25 for gross misdemeanor driving while intoxicated.
He was sentenced to 365 days jail and $4,400 fine and fees. All but 90 days and $2,100 was stayed on court conditions and he was placed on three years supervised probation. He was ordered to serve 120 hours with the Sentence to Serve program and may not use alcohol or enter places where it is being used or sold. He must follow the recommendations of an assessment.
• Robert A. Urban, 51, International Falls, was sentenced June 25 for gross misdemeanor driving after cancellation — posing a threat to public safety.
He was sentenced to 365 days jail and $3,145 fine and fees. The jail time and all but $195 was stayed on court conditions and he was placed on two years supervised probation.
