Falls students named to UND dean’s list
The fall 2012 University of North Dakota dean’s list has been released.
International Falls students Ariel Arch and Michelle Montgomery were included on the list.
The dean’s list includes students whose grade point averages are in the top 15 percent of the enrollment in each of the university’s degree granting colleges and schools.
A student must have completed no fewer than 12 semester hours of academic work for the semester, of which eight or more hours must be graded work rather than “satisfactory/unsatisfactory.”

Murray, Thoennes named to president’s list
Joseph Murray, of International Falls, and Jacob Thoennes, Littlefork, have been named to the Minnesota State Community and Technical College 2012 fall president’s list.
Area students name to ICC dean’s list
The following International Falls area students have been included on the Itasca Community College dean’s list for fall semester 2012.
Receiving 4.0 grade point averages were Alyndia Growette, Johnet Johnson, Catherine Sadera, Harlan Schauer and Jessica Taillefer.
Students with a 3.5-3.99 G.P.A. include Matthew Dubey, Friday Mainye and Judith Ngoge.
Tracy Sinclair received at 3.25-3.49 G.P.A.
Sobczynski named to dean’s list at UW-River Falls
The University of Wisconsin-River Falls fall semester dean’s list honoring 1, 414 students has been released by Registrar Daniel Vande Yacht.
Helen Sobczynski of International Falls,, majoring in animal science, has been named to the list.
To be named to the dean’s list, a full-time undergraduate student must earn a grade point average of at least 3.5 on a scale of 4.0, or midway between an “A” and “B” average.
