Thorstad named to dean’s list
Grace Thorstad, of International Falls, has been recognized for academic achievement during the fall 2012 semester at Marquette University and has earned membership on the Dean’s List of the College of Education.
A university news release stated, “This accomplishment is important because it demonstrates your commitment to developing a deep knowledge and understanding of education and the skills necessary to be an outstanding teacher. As a result of striving for academic excellence, you will be better prepared to meet the intellectual, social, emotional, cultural, and physical needs of your students. You bring honor to the profession by holding these aspirations.”
Shevich named
to St. Cloud State dean’s list
Bethany Shevich, of International Falls, was named to the fall semester dean’s list at St. Cloud State University.
She is enrolled in the School of Education, Elementary/K-6 Education program.
To be eligible for the honor, students must have a grade point average of 3.75 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
