Charlie Gordon and Paul Turenne

Falls High School 2012 graduate Charlie Gordon, center, interviewed his grandfather, Paul Turenne, at left, about his experience in Vietnam and wrote an essay about it, earning him a scholarship from Northland Vietnam Veterans memorial Foundation. Pictured with them is a Vietnam veteran who was shot in the back by a sniper in Vietnam when he was 21. They are holding the Northland Vietnam Veterans Association Flag.
