Brenda Crowe, center, from Blue Heron Counseling Services, is pictured with some Life Skills and Parenting students at Falls High School. Crowe recently volunteered time and spoke with students about emotional needs, friendships and love, relationships, and communication. Life Skills and Parenting is a Family and Consumer Science class taught by Marva Fairchild at FHS. Crowe has been a counselor in the area for over 20 years, and works to help clients improve their lives in many different ways. She is showing students how to communicate with “Power Talk,” enabling them to effectively communicate with friends and family. Students reported enjoying the expertise she shared with them; giving good practical examples of how to lead fulfilling lives.
