The annual Indus Student Council Talent Show was staged April 7 in the Indus School Commons. Emcees were Emma Morgan and Anastasia Noyes.

The evening ended a busy week of events, which included the Scholastic Book Fair, Grandparent’s Day, a Science Fair, Food Shelf collection, and Student Council Talent Show.

The Talent Show began with a delightful take on “School Humor” by second grader Ellie Wendt, which was followed by a vocal duet by Abrianna Hasbargen and Hattie Ulrich.

Next, Alexis Dawson and Kierstyn Johnson performed and second grader Sabreena Kling entertained the crowd with a dance.

Following the dance, the audience enjoyed freshman Kierstyn Johnson’s vocal solo, and loudly applauded when Annika Selberg sang a solo, as well.

Eighth grader Hailey Kilde made her first Indus singing debut followed by classmate Anastasia Noyes. Elementary students Rylee Ellsworth and Hattie Ulrich then sang a duet, and Matthew Kotnik entertained with some humor.

The program finale was presented by the Indus Bluegrass Club playing a familiar tune.

Participants in the Talent Show received gift certificates to the school store. A total of 104 pounds of food was donated to the Food Shelf.
