Department of Excellence
St. Thomas Aquinas School was named the “2013-2014 Minnesota World Language Department of Excellence” by the Minnesota Council of World Language and Culture Teachers. Recognition was given to Sue Nordquist, the pre-kindergarten through grade 8 Spanish language and culture “profesora.” A certificate, signed by Gov.Mark Dayton, was presented to her during the MCTLC Awards Luncheon Oct. 18 at the Earle Brown Heritage Center in Brooklyn Park. Each year, MCTLC recognizes the extraordinary work of language teachers and advocates in the state.
