The Indus kindergarten class celebrated their graduation on May 14 in the school commons. The class has eight students that will be moving on to the first grade next year.
The graduation ceremony included a welcome poem, several songs that were sung by the class, a few puppet shows and what each student’s hopes and dreams are in the future.
The puppet shows were the highlight of the evening, with Cyrus Thomopoulos, Charlie Steinbach, and Ethan Noyes presenting “The Three Bears” and Jamela Gregory, Julien McDaniel, Zach Schirmer and Jacob Hanson presenting “The Three Little Pigs.”
Students showed what they have learned about days of the week, months, continents and oceans through performing songs.
At the end of the program, their teacher, Miranda Gustafson, read a graduation poem and presented diplomas to the “graduates.” After a final song, “You’ve Got a Friend in Me,” the Class of 2025 was celebrated and cake was served.
