Indus School Report
A reading celebration is coming to Indus School. The Scholastic Book Fair will take place the week of March 26-30 in the Indus School library.
Reading is the most important skill you can teach a child. The Scholastic Book Fair this year is “Book Fair Luau — it’s a Reading Celebration!” This is an exciting reading event that brings to school a wonderful selection of fun, engaging, and affordable books that kids will want to read. Giving kids access to good books and the opportunity to choose their own books will motivate them to read more. The more kids practice reading, the better they will get. The community is welcome to visit the book fair anytime during the week. The library is open 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Indus School will be a buzz of activity Thursday. The third annual “Grand Event” will be featured that day. Grandparents are welcome for lunch and to share the afternoon with elementary students. The student council will sponsor a Talent/Variety Show beginning at 7 p.m. Science Fair exhibits will also be set up in the library with the book fair. The library will be open until 8.
