From sparkling gowns to classic dress, it was a night to remember for many Indus students at their prom April 30. “Dancing in the Dark” was the theme of the prom and 37 people participated in the grand march through the starry-night, decorated commons. Freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors attended prom and post prom, along with dates and friends.
Junior Celina Deliz emceed the grand march, which was followed by a dance with live music by a deejay. Class advisers for the juniors and the prom were Corinne Anderson, Mike Feininger and Laura Dahl.
With pool, air hockey, trophy hunting, dancing, karaoke, and open gym for entertainment, students celebrated the occasion until early Sunday morning, when prizes were given out to those who were still there. Prizes included anything from baseball caps and gift certificates to an iPod dock and a grand prize of a microwave — thanks to many local donors.
