The eighth grade Family and Consumer Science class at Falls High School, taught by Marva Fairchild, recently completed their sewing unit. Students completed several projects while learning the basics of sewing. Pictured are some of the students with one of the adult community volunteers, Carole Johnson, who worked with the students this year. Johnson taught the students to crochet basic bags made from plastic grocery bags. Adult community volunteers worked with the students a couple of days a week during the sewing unit, helping to answer basic sewing questions. Other volunteers were Lois Fogelberg and Glenda Johnson.
