The International Falls school board members and I welcome our students and staff to another school year. We are looking forward to an enjoyable and educationally challenging year. With the official start of the school year upon us, the dedicated International Falls school staff is ready again to work with the students to continue the educational journey that parents expect for their child.
The education of our children is the legacy we send to a future that many of us will never see. As a school district and community, we must do all that we can to provide quality and equity in all aspects of the International Falls school district’s educational program to ensure every child achieves her or his fullest potential.
We, as parents and adults in our communities, should do our best to create and support a top-quality school district. We have talented, dedicated teachers, support and office staff, administrators and school board members. The International Falls school district is a first-class district that is aggressively improving and adapting to the new technology and demands of an information society.
We want to recognize and thank the teachers, administrators and the International Falls school board, along with the many parents, district residents and community organizations that supported the work of the school personnel. All this work and support brought the school district to the positive side of meeting the criteria in the No Child Left Behind guidelines. We are very excited and proud of our District’s staff and educational programming in bringing us to this level.
Once again, we welcome the students and staff to a new school year and look forward to hearing from parents and residents of our District with ideas on how we can improve for the benefit of our students.
