Sarah Manka, of International Falls, who is attending the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point for wildlife ecology with a biology minor, is the recipient of the Irving W. Gerhardt European Environmental Seminar Scholarship.
Manka will partake in the European seminar in July, traveling to Poland, Germany and Iceland.
Each year outstanding natural resource students are selected for their demonstration of leadership, character and commitment to conservation.
The scholarship awards program took place March 30 at Sentry Theater, Stevens Point, Wis.
