Teachers Emilie Veith and Heather Sundsvold coached the Math Master teams
Falls Elementary School Math Masters teams, coached by Emilie Veith and Heather Sundsvold, traveled to Bemidji March 9 to compete for the second time in regional competition in the Math Masters program.
A team made up of John Cowman, Josh Cann, Ben Keeney, Tanner Sether and Riley Beck finished first place out of 14 teams.
Award winners in the Fact Drill round were Tanner Sether, placing sixth, and Riley Beck, eighth, out of 68 students.
In the Individual Round, John Cowman placed 10th, Kylan Bjorkquist ninth, and Tanner Sether placed first out of 68 students.
