Falls High School Family and Consumer Science students from the classes of Marva Fairchild are pictured with some of the record-number 66 pies they made in two days for the annual Salvation Army Thanksgiving Dinner served at the Elks Lodge. Supplies were donated by Stewart’s SuperOne Foods and Jim and Linda Sutch provided apples. The International Falls Educational Foundation purchased new pastry boards for the FACS department this year, which enabled the students to greatly increase the number of pies made. A record number of people were also served at the dinner this year, with just one pie remaining at the conclusion of the meal.
