Sandi Sylver, a storyteller, ventriloquist and songstress, recently presented a program to elementary students at Indus School. She came Sept. 20 under the auspices of Dakota Assemblies and presented a 45-minute program of song, story and ventriloquism to encourage children to read, and write and reinvent themselves. Sylver is pictured interacting with a puppet at the assembly.
