Teaching Spanish culture
Megan Vinar and Rachel Zupke, former students of Susan Nordquist, visited St. Thomas School Oct. 14 to teach students religious songs in Spanish. Selections included “He decidido seguir a Cristo” (I Have Decided to Follow Jesus) and “Cristo me ama” (Jesus Loves Me). Nordquist volunteers weekly to teach students in preschool through grade 8 Spanish language and culture.
