The primary elections Tuesday narrowed the field of candidates for the Koochiching County Commissioner District 5 race to Linda Dreher and Wayne Skoe.

Dreher and Skoe will move on to the ballot in November's general elections.

The results for the local candidates were as follows:

• Linda Dreher — 105 votes

• Karin Elhard — 90 votes

• Chris Pfeifer — 20 votes

• Wayne Skoe — 246 votes

• Louis E. Slapnicker — 8 votes
